Senior Analytics Engineer

Posted 19 hours ago

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Take charge of Moxie's Semantic Layer (dbt + Omni) and develop benchmarking and segmentation datasets that reveal actionable insights across essential medspa performance areas β€” including patient acquisition, retention, operational efficiency, and more.

β€’ Facilitate the integration of embedded AI into the Moxie Suite by creating high-quality datasets that drive conversational analytics and precise recommendations, aiming for over 98% accuracy in core medspa operational metrics.

β€’ Foster data trust throughout the organization by spearheading the Revenue Reconciliation & Operations workstream within the Data Governance initiative β€” ensuring the availability of critical reports related to staff and service-level compensation.

β€’ Collaborate with BizOps to identify correlation and affinity metrics (e.g., 'Service A is strongly associated with higher retention') that empower the Sales and PSM teams to secure more enterprise medspa clients.

β€’ Establish a foundation for predictive analytics by investigating methods that transition Practice Intelligence from 'what has occurred' to 'what is likely to occur β€” and what actions to take.'

⛳️ Requirements

β€’ 3–6 years of experience in analytics engineering or a related field, preferably with exposure to a vertical SaaS or data environment adjacent to healthcare where data quality is paramount.

β€’ A proficient data modeler with extensive expertise in dbt and SQL capable of constructing clean, scalable, and well-documented models that inspire trust β€” and who is challenged by data that lacks defensibility.

β€’ An individual who connects the dots between engineering and business: equally adept at discussing medspa KPIs such as AOV and retention rate as well as optimizing SQL models or utilizing Python when necessary.

β€’ An AI-savvy innovator β€” you incorporate AI tools into your workflow, have experimented with LLMs, or come from an organization recognized for its bold AI initiatives. Familiarity with tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or similar is advantageous.

β€’ A clear communicator who can convert data insights into business recommendations β€” not just provide a dataset, but clarify its significance and relevance to non-technical stakeholders.

β€’ Someone who has previously been an early or foundational data hire, or is genuinely prepared to embrace that level of responsibility for the first time.

🏝️ Benefits

β€’ At Moxie, we are committed to fostering a workplace where everyone feels valued, trusted, and included.

β€’ We encourage individuals from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to apply.

β€’ If you need any accommodations to fully engage in the interview process, please inform us, and we will be happy to assist.
