Senior Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Create and manage the semantic layer that drives analytics for customers, operations, commercial teams, and executive leadership.

• Design, develop, and sustain dashboards, reports, and KPIs that facilitate business decision-making and enhance customer value visibility.

• Establish and assess customer outcome metrics, which include ROI, energy savings, operational efficiencies, and avoided costs.

• Convert business and operational needs into scalable data models, reporting solutions, and analytical products.

• Guarantee data quality, consistency, lineage, governance, and reliability across analytical models and reporting assets.

• Work closely with Engineering to enhance data structures, optimize analytical performance, and ensure data is ready for analytics.

• Assist in transitioning from traditional BI tools to native reporting experiences within the Keedian platform.

• Participate in the advancement of Keedian’s intelligence capabilities, focusing on benchmarking, predictive analytics, fault detection, and optimization initiatives.

• Document best practices and contribute to scaling the company’s analytics capabilities as the platform evolves.


⛳️ Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related data roles.

• Background in developing semantic layers, reporting frameworks, or customer-facing analytics solutions.

• Demonstrated experience in creating dashboards, KPIs, and reporting products derived from large datasets.

• Proficient in working with time-series, telemetry, operational, or IoT-related data.

• Experience in collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Capability to manage analytics solutions end-to-end, from modeling through to reporting.

• Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization and data modeling.

• Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis and transformation.

• Familiarity with dbt or similar data modeling frameworks.

• Experience using BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Metabase.

• Knowledge of AWS data services, including S3 and Athena.

• Solid understanding of dimensional modeling and best practices in analytics engineering.

• Awareness of data quality, testing, lineage, and governance concepts.
