This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Transform raw data into well-structured, tested, and reusable datasets utilizing dbt.
• Implement various data transformations (such as combining, cleansing, flattening, and aggregation) to create a solid foundation layer for reporting and analysis.
• Ensure that SQL code is efficient, well-organized, and maintainable, adhering to consistent naming and development conventions.
• Provide clear and comprehensible descriptions of data and transformation stages, making it easy for all users to locate answers to their inquiries.
• Define measures and establish testing processes to guarantee data accuracy that meets operational and analytical requirements.
• Adhere to software engineering best practices for analytics (particularly in dbt) regarding version control, testing, and deployment.
• Develop dashboards, charts, and reports using BI tools.
• Collaborate effectively with all stakeholders, including data engineers and business analysts, to align our data assets with business needs.
• Over 4 years of experience in data transformation and modeling, with commercial experience in Kimball/Dimensional or Data Vault methodologies being highly desirable.
• Familiarity with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or similar platforms.
• Proficient in SQL.
• At least 1 year of experience working with DBT.
• Experience in developing reporting layers for BI tools and dashboard creation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of engaging effectively with various management levels as well as the business and technical communities.
• Proficiency in English is essential.
