This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Directs analytics engineering and the architecture of analytics-ready data across GXG for Government clients.
• Spearheads the creation, execution, and governance of analytics engineering standards and strategic best practices that influence enterprise delivery.
• Designs and sustains highly dependable, standardized data models, transformation logic, and validation frameworks for delivering customer analytics.
• Manages the analytics-engineering layer for our advanced analytics platforms, converting product-delivered data into analytics-ready formats.
• Serves as GXG’s senior consultant for intricate customer data integrations and technical decision-making.
• Establishes reusable integration patterns, templates, and documentation to facilitate scalable delivery, minimizing ambiguity and startup duration.
• Defines and enhances GXG processes for data quality, quality assurance, backfills, and release coordination. Observes and resolves data quality and consistency issues to ensure data structures support dashboards, metrics, and client outcomes.
• Addresses data issues within GXG and coordinates well-defined escalations to Product teams when necessary.
• Offers strategic insights on analytical methodologies, measurement frameworks, and best practices.
• Enhances organizational team efficiency by identifying systemic data challenges and promoting durable, scalable solutions.
• Over 8 years of experience in analytics engineering, data analytics, or business intelligence, supporting analytics delivery in complex, cross-functional environments; experience with web analytics, digital marketing data, or government technology is preferred, particularly with external clients.
• Proficient in advanced SQL and possesses strong skills in analytics-ready data modeling.
• Subject-matter expert capable of defining and influencing best practices at an organizational level.
• Proven ability to define, communicate, and enforce analytics engineering methodologies at an enterprise scale, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry benchmarks.
• Strong grasp of cloud data ecosystems and upstream data pipelines.
• Exceptional discipline in data quality, including validation, reconciliation, and auditability.
• Systems thinking approach with the ability to operate in ambiguous, high-complexity integration scenarios.
• Clear technical communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Demonstrated experience in developing dashboards and reporting solutions; familiarity with Amazon QuickSight and Tableau is advantageous.
• Strong foundation in quantitative research and statistical analysis; qualitative research experience is a plus.
• In-depth understanding of web analytics and behavioral data, including event-based and engagement datasets from tools like Google Analytics (GA4), Adobe Analytics, Siteimprove, or similar.
• Experience in integrating multi-channel digital data sources, including email marketing platforms, social media, surveys, and other emerging customer feedback and engagement channels.
• Comfortable leading client-facing workstreams.
• Experience and/or enthusiasm for collaborating with government clients, with a passion for public service, citizen engagement, and communication.
