Senior Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, development, and upkeep of intricate data pipelines, ensuring that scalability, reliability, observability, and automation are inherent attributes of the data system.

• Direct the definition and advancement of complex analytical and semantic models, integrating various sources and domains while maintaining semantic consistency, stability, and alignment with different usage patterns.

• Define and oversee the application of data stack tools, including orchestration, ingestion, and transformation, setting technical standards, operational best practices, and long-term strategic direction.

• Establish organization-wide standards for quality, testing, and reliability to guarantee predictable delivery, minimize regressions, and ensure the long-term sustainability of production data solutions.

• Convert business requirements into technical modeling guidelines while collaborating directly with business stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in advanced SQL.

• Extensive knowledge of dimensional modeling (Star Schema/Snowflake Schema) to efficiently structure data for analytical purposes.

• Expertise in dbt.

• Experience with cloud data warehousing platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks.

• Familiarity with Git/GitHub for version control and collaboration, applying best practices in software engineering.

• Ability to translate business needs into data transformation rules and analytical models.
