Senior Analyst, Trend Analysis, Payor Escalations

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive trend analysis and root cause investigations related to Low Balance inventory, which encompasses denials, payment variances, adjustments, and returns.

• Examine claims, remittance, and payment data to uncover payor behavior patterns, identify emerging issues, and assess revenue risks.

• Assist in preparing for payor escalations by carrying out thorough account reviews, summarizing the findings, and documenting suggested next steps.

• Keep precise documentation for payor escalations, detailing issues, supporting analyses, and outcomes of resolutions.

• Execute monthly revenue reconciliation to verify accuracy and completeness across various source systems.

• Carry out analyses for trending requests and take part in cross-functional reviews to discuss findings and propose recommended actions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).

• 4-7+ years of progressive experience in hospital revenue cycle analytics, healthcare operations analytics, or equivalent experience in complex healthcare financial settings.

• Extensive experience in analyzing claim inventory, payor behavior, denials, and payment patterns, with a proven ability to translate findings into operational and financial impacts.

• Strong expertise as a system analyst or senior business partner in revenue cycle systems, reporting platforms, or analytics technologies.

• Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, along with strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficient in analytical tools, particularly Microsoft Excel and the wider Microsoft Office Suite, with a demonstrated capacity to capture, analyze, and present data effectively to diverse audiences.
