This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Assist in the expansion of client growth within Analytics and Retail Media.
• Support the commercial lead in uncovering opportunities in traditional analytics and retail media by preparing materials, conducting background research, and positioning Circana’s solutions to meet client needs.
• Simplify Data and Retail Media Insights into Actionable Takeaways.
• Collaborate with senior team members to analyze shopper, sales, and retail media performance data, helping to create clear narratives that facilitate client discussions and commercial proposals.
• Contribute to the Sales Process for Analytics and Retail Media.
• Assist in essential steps of the sales cycle—including prospect research, preparing needs assessments, aiding with proposals, and following up on both analytics programs and retail media opportunities.
• Foster Collaboration Across Teams.
• Work closely with Client Insights, Product, Retail Media Measurement, and Analytics teams to gather insights, validate data, and deliver comprehensive client solutions.
• Develop Foundational Knowledge of Retail Media and Industry Trends.
• Enhance understanding of retail, CPG, and retail media trends—including audience strategy, activation, measurement, and cross-channel dynamics—to enrich client discussions and improve solution alignment.
• Cultivate and Maintain Client Relationships.
• Assist in managing ongoing communication by preparing for meetings, capturing notes and action items, tracking deliverables, and ensuring prompt responses in analytics and retail media discussions.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, Communications, Economics, or a related discipline is required.
• 0–2 years of experience in a client-facing role, sales, analytics, or in a retail/CPG setting.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
• Familiarity with analytics tools, CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics), or retail media/ad platforms is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Experience in digital media and shopper loyalty programs is advantageous.
• Capability to convert data and analyses into clear, relevant business implications.
