Senior Analyst, Policy, Procedures, SOX Controls

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in the implementation of Policies, Procedures, and Controls within PS Finance, utilizing notifications and escalation as necessary to fulfill both internal and external requirements.

• Provide assistance to address and resolve any issues and escalations that arise within the department, especially when Policies, Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, and/or Controls are critical to the resolution.

• Collaborate directly with Internal Audit Teams to ensure prompt support for SOX and SOC Control testing.

• Guarantee that support and evidence are both accurate and timely.

• Monitor support for potential process gaps.

• Partner closely with the PP&C Manager and Control Owners to resolve potential audit findings identified through SOX Testing and Internal Audit Inspections conducted by our SOX Control Assurance Team, as well as internal and external Auditors.

• Support internal testing as a proactive measure to ensure Controls are operating as intended.

• Confirm that Policies and Procedures pertaining to PS Finance Controls comply with requirements set by the Compliance Adherence Team.

• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in the business area to ensure all Policies and Procedures are thoroughly reviewed annually, with timely documentation of mid-cycle process changes to uphold the integrity of all Policies and Procedures.

• Oversee the internal P&P Portal submission and approval process, ensuring adherence to all enterprise compliance requirements.

• Provide formatting and editing assistance as required.

• Work with Business Process Owners and SMEs to offer expertise and guidance in the development of new Policies, Procedures, and Standard Operating Processes.

• Coordinate with business process owners to ensure the attestation of Policies and Procedures within their respective areas.

• Manage external distributions by obtaining necessary approvals and ensuring that documents comply with redaction standards prior to external sharing.

• Contribute to process enhancement initiatives by participating in projects with Process Improvement (PI) teams, identifying requirements for any missing documentation, and addressing those gaps to ensure processes are documented and stored on the SharePoint site.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial operations, healthcare, and/or service operations.

• Proven experience in building strong relationships with business partners to provide valuable consultation.

• Background in Audit, Compliance, and/or Quality roles.

• Experience in the healthcare industry, including health insurance, PBM, or pharmacy services.

• Familiarity with highly regulated industries and compliance environments.

• Experience with complex, interconnected systems and business processes.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to assess risks to prevent gaps in organizational processes.

• Capability to work independently.

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

• Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred or equivalent experience is acceptable.
