This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assume a leading consultative position with internal HR clients to identify strategic information requirements, perform data and process analyses, offer actionable insights, and manage and execute analytical projects that align with the organization’s strategic goals.
• Conduct analyses, generally of moderate to high complexity, of Home Depot's HR, Payroll, and related business data and processes, with a focus on recognizing trends, identifying root causes of issues, and determining solutions to effectively manage them, thereby facilitating sound business decisions.
• Establish a robust foundation of analytical capabilities across the HR organization.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of analytical tools, technologies, and business solutions that enhance HR and business decision-making, driving operational efficiency.
• Collect functional requirements, maintain documentation, and create project plans and status reports that manage Analytics projects and direct the development activities of IT and HR Services support staff.
• Design and produce dashboards, reports, presentations, and visual aids aimed at educating, informing, and influencing the decisions of HR clients and business leaders at Home Depot.
• Inform and elevate the awareness of business leaders and internal HR clients regarding the availability and utilization of analytical tools, techniques, and the strategic opportunities available through effective use of Home Depot's HR information assets.
• Must be at least eighteen years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Extensive experience in statistical analysis and modeling of business data, preferably in HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Finance within a retail or large service-based organization.
• Six Sigma training and certification required.
• Practical experience applying Six Sigma methodologies in formal business projects.
• Proficient in statistical analysis software such as SAS, Minitab, or JMP.
• Experience in designing business reports, dashboards, and graphical presentations that effectively convey analytical concepts.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, utilizing complex spreadsheet analytics for presentation development.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Access or similar relational databases; SQL skills are a plus.
• Knowledge of business data modeling, data warehousing, and data mining techniques.
• Experience with MicroStrategy or other BI tools is a bonus.
