This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Assist in overseeing the successful execution of a data migration project from a SQL environment to an EDW environment, which encompasses
• maintaining documentation pertaining to ROPs owned data
• leading the delivery of requirements
• prioritizing data requirements
• providing QA and UAT support
• offering post-implementation support
• Independently manage the collection and upkeep of data documentation while ensuring a high standard of data quality in accordance with regulatory and enterprise standards, along with ongoing data compliance and security
• Capable of synthesizing and articulating business needs and priorities to IT stakeholders
• effectively navigate discussions regarding trade-offs and/or obstacles with both business and IT stakeholders
• Continuously evaluate opportunities and the effectiveness of the data strategy
• Proactively recognize evolving business needs to propose enhancements in data management processes and long-term strategic planning
• Maintain alignment with key business partners to ensure the data strategy is seamlessly integrated into existing operations and aligns with the company's strategic initiatives
• Foster strong collaboration with revenue operations centralized analytics teams to ensure data architecture meets the reporting and analytical requirements of the business.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an analytical, project management, or strategic support capacity
• SDLC experience is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; a graduate degree is an advantage
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries (MS SQL Server, PLSQL/Oracle, Netezza)
• Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint are essential
• Familiarity with MS Access, Tableau, VBA, R, and Python is preferred
• Ability to break down a problem into a structured approach and quickly develop a hypothesis for analysis
• A strong sense of accountability; a passion for owning projects and ensuring their successful completion
• An aptitude for understanding the big picture while also recognizing important details
• Capability to communicate complex ideas in a clear, easily understandable manner to diverse audiences
• Experience with visualization tools (Cognos, Tableau, etc.) or data movement (ETL Tools) is preferred
