Senior Analog Layout Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Perform layout feasibility assessments on various circuit designs in cooperation with senior analog designers.

• Develop layouts for designated analog blocks by following the procedures for floor planning, placement, and routing.

• Execute comprehensive verification checks such as DRC, ANT, LVS, PERC, EM, and IR to guarantee the final layout meets the highest quality standards.

• Explore new functionalities within the layout tools and methodologies utilized for layout creation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, complemented by 5+ years of pertinent industry experience.

• Proficient in custom analog and mixed-signal layout design, with a solid understanding of deep sub-micron CMOS devices (e.g., FinFET transistors).

• Highly driven individual with excellent teamwork capabilities, demonstrating a positive, proactive attitude.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Expertise in using industry-standard layout tools (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso, Siemens Calibre, Ansys Totem, etc.).

• Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities to efficiently identify and resolve layout-related challenges.

• Capability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
