This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden.
• Create, develop, and sustain RESTful APIs to facilitate frontend applications and enterprise integrations.
• Design and enhance DynamoDB schemas, indexes, and data access patterns for scalable application performance.
• Develop and manage Python-based AWS Lambda functions to implement business logic and automation.
• Modify, enhance, and oversee Amazon Connect contact flows and routing logic.
• Collaborate with UI development teams to convert business requirements into backend services and APIs.
• Engage directly with Amazon Professional Services on initiatives for Amazon Connect implementation and enhancement.
• Design and support event-driven architectures utilizing AWS services such as Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, and API Gateway.
• Support and optimize data flows across AWS services and interconnected systems.
• Implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud-native solutions.
• Diagnose application, integration, and infrastructure issues across AWS environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee reliable and efficient service delivery.
• Participate in production support tasks and occasional after-hours deployments as necessary.
• Over 8 years of practical experience with AWS.
• More than 4 years of experience with Amazon Connect, encompassing contact flows, routing, queues, and integrations.
• Strong expertise in Python, particularly in the development of AWS Lambda functions.
• Familiarity with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, and CloudWatch.
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and backend integrations.
• Solid understanding of DynamoDB schema design, indexing strategies, and performance optimization.
• Experience in designing and supporting cloud-native and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills with the capability to work effectively across engineering and business teams.
• Experience in Agile development environments.
• Nice To Have: Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Experience in converting AWS CDK or CloudFormation templates into Terraform.
• Familiarity with IBM ODM.
