Senior Amazon Connect Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate frontend applications and enterprise integrations

• Design and enhance DynamoDB schemas, indexes, and data access strategies for scalable applications

• Develop and sustain Python-based AWS Lambda functions for business logic and automation processes

• Modify, improve, and manage Amazon Connect contact flows and routing configurations

• Collaborate with UI development teams to convert business requirements into backend services and APIs

• Work directly with Amazon Professional Services on initiatives related to the implementation and enhancement of Amazon Connect

• Design and support event-driven architectures utilizing AWS services such as Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, and API Gateway

• Support and optimize data flows across AWS services and integrated systems

• Implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud-native solutions

• Troubleshoot application, integration, and infrastructure issues within AWS environments

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and efficient service delivery

• Engage in production support activities and occasional after-hours deployments as necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of hands-on experience with AWS

• More than 4 years of experience with Amazon Connect, encompassing contact flows, routing, queues, and integrations

• Strong expertise in Python, including the development of AWS Lambda functions

• Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, and CloudWatch

• Extensive experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and backend integrations

• Strong understanding of DynamoDB schema design, indexing strategies, and performance optimization

• Experience in designing and supporting cloud-native and event-driven architectures

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation methodologies

• Strong communication abilities with the capacity to effectively collaborate across engineering and business teams
