This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Create, develop, and validate machine learning models aimed at identifying RF emitters.
• Perform hands-on exploratory data analysis on RF sensor datasets utilizing Python and Jupyter notebooks.
• Establish and maintain machine learning data pipelines.
• Work in collaboration with the technical lead and Principal AI/ML Engineer to assess the quality of RF sensor data.
• Generate comprehensive technical documentation regarding experiments, model configurations, and outcomes.
• 5–7 years of pertinent experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Over 5 years of practical experience in machine learning, data science, or RF signal processing.
• Expertise in Python for machine learning and data science applications — including PyTorch or TensorFlow for model creation, and Pandas/NumPy for data handling, as well as scikit-learn or equivalent for evaluation and baseline modeling.
• Direct experience in designing, training, and assessing deep learning models — specifically metric learning, Siamese networks, or other similarity-learning frameworks — on real-world, noisy, and imbalanced datasets.
• Practical knowledge in addressing real-world data quality issues — such as missing values, label noise, class imbalance, systematic bias, and sensor artifacts.
• Capability to develop and execute machine learning pipelines on Linux-based systems without relying on cloud infrastructure or GPU acceleration.
