Senior AI Vertical Mini-Series Director – Freelance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Manage 1–2 series simultaneously (10–15 episodes per series, approximately 1 minute per episode plus a trailer).

• Collaborate with our in-house AI copilot for maintaining character consistency, casting, and generating trailers.

• Direct, edit, and complete each episode independently. You will write scripts and bring the narrative to life.

• We will provide training in AI content creation. A strong background in film editing will enable you to learn quickly.

• Work alongside our team of AI Content Creators, technical team, other Short Film Directors, and executive team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in directing or showrunning short-form narrative video.

• Strong instincts for scripting: including hooks, cliffhangers, and minute-to-minute escalation.

• Familiarity with AI generation tools such as Runway Gen-4, Sora 2, Kling 3, Veo 3, Pika, Higgsfield, and Seedance. We will help you become an expert quickly.

• Previous experience with vertical drama platforms.

• Excellent communication and collaborative skills (fluent in English).

• Goal-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and commitment.

• Proactive mindset - we are moving quickly and need individuals who can balance execution, planning, and strategy.

• Highly focused on speed, performance, and iteration.

• Humble and eager to learn, open to constructive feedback.
