This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, uphold, and implement policies and procedures for the use of AI technologies.
• Collaborate with Legal, Privacy, and Technology teams to create responsible AI governance frameworks.
• Keep track of changing regulatory requirements and industry standards pertaining to AI security, privacy, and governance.
• Perform security and risk evaluations of AI platforms, models, and applications.
• Assess proposed AI use cases and offer security recommendations prior to their deployment.
• Formulate risk mitigation strategies and compensatory controls for identified AI-related threats.
• Design and implement technical guardrails for AI platforms and applications.
• Establish secure integration patterns for AI services and APIs.
• Analyze and recommend AI security tools and technologies.
• Work alongside engineering teams to embed security controls into AI-enabled applications.
• Create monitoring and detection capabilities for AI-related security incidents.
• Offer guidance and training to employees on secure and responsible AI usage.
• BA/BS or higher degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in information security-related positions.
• Familiarity with AI technologies, Large Language Models (LLMs), generative AI platforms, and AI development tools.
• Direct, hands-on experience with AI platforms such as OpenAI (ChatGPT, Codex), Anthropic (Claude Chat, Code, Cowork), Cursor, Google Gemini, and AWS Bedrock.
• Experience in cloud security or application security.
• Thorough understanding of the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, ISO42001, OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications, and MITRE ATLAS.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, ISO42001, or other AI security certifications.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects at once.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to Austin, TX, and to India two times a year.
