Senior AI Python Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Crafting reusable, testable, and efficient code – we prioritize comprehensive typing.

• Enhance, accelerate, and expand our sophisticated Python-based technology stack.

• Architect the framework for our AI technology and establish a technological roadmap for future advancements.

• Design and implement low-latency, high-performance object-oriented Python code.

• Develop and maintain data structures and formats that are scalable.

• Design and create core functionalities within back-end processing systems.

• Engage in design, code, and architectural reviews.

• Stay informed about the latest technologies, assess new tools, and acquire new techniques.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Python (more than 4 years) – with expertise in object-oriented design and programming.

• Advanced knowledge of SqlAlchemy, PostgreSQL, Pytests, Docker, and Docker Compose.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, electrical engineering, data science, or equivalent professional experience.

• Deep understanding of the fundamental design principles essential for a scalable Python application.

• Awareness of Python's threading limitations and multi-process architecture.

• Strong skills in automated testing and a commitment to code quality.

• Proficient in using software development tools, automated testing, and profiling, such as PyCharm, Git, pytest, mypy, flake, and Docker (knowledge of Jenkins, Kubernetes, OpenShift is a bonus).

• Enthusiastic about learning and engaging with cutting-edge technologies.

• Strong team player with an enjoyable working style.

• Quick learner with a high capacity for abstract thinking, organized work approach, a hands-on mentality, and an international perspective.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken (fluency in German or another language is an advantage).
