Senior AI Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design the technical foundation for projects, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and observable.

• Integrate Kubernetes, automation, proactive security, and FinOps to enhance our services.

• Create, implement, and refine cloud and Kubernetes environments for applications, APIs, agents, AI services, and data pipelines.

• Develop and sustain CI/CD pipelines with an emphasis on security, standardization, traceability, and rapid delivery.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning through Infrastructure as Code methodologies.

• Establish observability standards encompassing logs, metrics, tracing, dashboards, alerts, and platform health indicators.

• Assist in the operation of AI workloads, which include inference services, embeddings, agent orchestration, and integration components.

• Adhere to best practices regarding security, environment segregation, secrets management, access control, and infrastructure policies.

• Focus on performance, availability, scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency.

• Develop reusable patterns for environments, deployments, monitoring, security, and operations.

• Collaborate closely with AI, Data, Product, Full Stack, and Machine Learning teams to convert technical requirements into platform functionalities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Proficiency in Kubernetes, containers, Docker, Helm, and managed cloud services.

• Familiarity with CI/CD processes, including GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar tools.

• Experience with Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure as Code solutions.

• Understanding of observability, monitoring, logging, and tracing concepts.

• Solid understanding of networking, load balancing, security, authentication, authorization, and high availability.

• Experience working in production environments, managing incidents, operating critical services, and driving continuous improvement.

• Capability to document technical standards and support architectural decisions.

• Experience in MLOps, LLMOps, AI platforms, model serving, or GPU workloads.

• Knowledge of tools such as vLLM, Triton, NVIDIA NIM, MLflow, Kubeflow, Ray, or similar.

• Familiarity with API Gateway, service mesh, secrets management, and cloud security policies.

• Understanding of FinOps and strategies for infrastructure cost optimization.

• Experience in enterprise environments with compliance requirements, LGPD (Brazilian Data Protection Law), RBAC, and governance.
