Forward Deployed AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with enterprise clients to define and implement AI Agent use cases within intricate workflows.

• Connect the IFS Loops platform with customer systems.

• Optimize agent behavior and logic to achieve quantifiable results (e.g., reduced costs, enhanced efficiency, fewer errors).

• Diagnose deployment issues and rapidly iterate to guarantee performance, accuracy, and user adoption.

• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to incorporate customer insights into the development roadmap.

• Record technical decisions and transfer stable deployments to customer engineering or support teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, or ML deployment roles.

• Proficiency in Python and a solid understanding of AI/ML frameworks (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, Pinecone, Weaviate, etc.).

• Experience in developing LLM applications, RAG systems, or conversational AI workflows.

• Background in integrating with enterprise systems through APIs or middleware (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow, SAP, Oracle).

• Capability to convert business challenges into technical solutions and deliver them promptly.

• Excellent interpersonal skills; equally adept at engaging with customers on a whiteboard and writing code.

• Proactive approach, ownership mentality, and commitment to continuous learning in fast-paced environments.
