This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Take on a technical leadership role, overseeing the installation and support of cloud software and services.
• Automate infrastructure and services utilizing Infrastructure as Code along with CI/CD pipelines.
• Propose and design cloud services and tools that align with business requirements, performance metrics, security, and budget considerations.
• Create technical solutions following Agile methodologies.
• Conduct daily operations for cloud infrastructure, which includes monitoring, responding to alerts, and troubleshooting issues.
• Advise architecture and development teams on system designs as well as the comparison between on-premises and cloud environments.
• Assess and transition appropriate on-premises systems to cloud-based platforms.
• Construct highly redundant environments to ensure performance, uptime, scalability, and business continuity.
• Keep infrastructure documentation, technical procedures, operations manuals, and best-practice guidelines up to date.
• Instruct teams on new cloud initiatives and provide support for the environment.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience is mandatory.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Cloud Infrastructure and Software Engineering.
• Familiarity with enterprise AI platforms such as Azure AI Foundry and/or Google Gemini Enterprise is essential.
• Experience in multi-cloud architecture, specifically with Azure and GCP.
• Knowledge of enterprise network design, including segmentation models, encryption, logging, and monitoring practices.
• Proficiency with firewalls, network authentication controls, and both Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools including Splunk, New Relic, Logstash, and CloudTrail.
• Comprehensive understanding of Azure and/or GCP.
• Strong expertise in CI/CD practices, infrastructure automation, and application build and deployment automation.
• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes for managing container images and deploying them via Kubernetes-based services.
• Knowledge and experience with Terraform/Ansible, Git-based products, Azure DevOps/Jenkins, and pipeline development.
• Understanding of cloud security architectures for both cloud and hybrid systems.
• Exceptional troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
