
Senior AI Infrastructure Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, integrate, and manage production platform capabilities that facilitate governed AI usage.
• Construct and maintain approved model-access patterns, utilizing Amazon Bedrock when applicable.
• Create infrastructure as code, automation for deployment, CI/CD templates, and reusable platform components.
• Implement usage telemetry, token reporting, model and user/project attribution, quotas, and pipelines for cost management data.
• Deploy and manage approved sandbox patterns for coding and tool-utilizing agents.
• Develop governed mediation patterns for tools/services used in AI applications and agents.
• Set up logging, monitoring, alerting, audit evidence collection, and operational reporting.
• Create onboarding templates and reference implementations for both client-facing and internal teams.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance infrastructure coding, automation, debugging, testing, documentation, and runbook creation.
• Assist in defining runbooks, support models, incident pathways, and operational transitions.
• Travel as necessary.
• Over 6 years of experience in building and operating production cloud or platform infrastructure.
• Practical experience with AWS, infrastructure as code, automation, or production operations.
• Strong background in infrastructure as code.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, IAM, secrets management, logging, monitoring, deployment automation, and operational support.
• Proficient software engineering or scripting skills for automation and platform tooling.
• Capability to utilize AI tools for infrastructure automation, code generation, debugging, testing, or documentation.
• Familiarity with APIs, event-driven systems, service integration, and secure deployment methodologies.
• Ability to translate vague platform requirements into functional systems.
• Experience with Amazon Bedrock or other managed AI/model platforms is preferred.
• Background in token/cost telemetry, usage attribution, chargeback, showback, or FinOps data pipelines is preferred.
• Experience with Temporal or similar workflow orchestration platforms is preferred.
• Knowledge of containerized or sandboxed execution environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with agent tools, MCP, model gateways, API gateways, or secure service broker patterns is preferred.
• Experience supporting regulated, client-confidential, PHI, PII, or sensitive workloads is preferred.
