Senior AI Governance Specialist – m/f/d

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop a scalable platform to facilitate AI governance, which includes self-service workflows, reusable templates, risk tiering, policy-driven controls, and practical guidance for teams.

• Establish governance for agentic AI use cases, encompassing human oversight, access management, monitoring, auditability, and escalation procedures.

• Collaborate with data and AI engineers, IT compliance, and a diverse array of business stakeholders to ensure governance is practical, scalable, and integrated into daily operations.

• Convert relevant laws, standards, and internal policies—including but not limited to the EU AI Act—into governance processes that teams can comprehend and implement confidently.

• Enhance our AI risk management strategy by assisting stakeholders in navigating intricate decisions, pinpointing opportunities for improvement, and leveraging automation to further streamline our audit trail.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of hands-on experience in AI governance, AI risk management, or AI compliance, preferably within a complex data-driven environment.

• Practical experience in governing AI agents is advantageous.

• Strong knowledge of AI technologies and relevant governance frameworks, laws, and standards, including but not limited to the EU AI Act.

• Capability to simplify complex topics into clear, actionable guidance, and comfort in collaborating with technical, compliance, and business stakeholders.

• A strategic thinker who enjoys tackling complex governance challenges and is dedicated to establishing processes that foster continual improvement over time.
