Senior AI Governance Engineer

📋 Description

• Governance & Strategy: Develop and execute governance frameworks for the Power Platform and Copilot Studio tailored to enterprise clients — including environment strategy and segmentation, DLP and connector policy formulation (both classic and advanced), Copilot/agent lifecycle governance, along with security, compliance, and identity alignment (Entra ID, RBAC).

• Technical Leadership: Provide guidance on best practices across Power Apps, Power Automate (both cloud and desktop), Dataverse, Copilot Studio agents (building, deploying, monitoring, and managing), ALM strategies (solutions, pipelines, DevOps integration), and operational support models that encompass monitoring and auditing.

• Client Engagement & Communication: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, adeptly discussing platform strategy, governance trade-offs, and risk implications with both technical leaders and executives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of enterprise experience in Microsoft platform delivery, with significant exposure to Power Platform governance, administration, or architecture in a multi-environment, multi-business-unit framework.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform — including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and the Power Platform Admin Center (PPAC).

• Established expertise in Power Platform governance — encompassing environment strategy, DLP policy creation and enforcement, managed environments, and access control models for solutions.

• Experience with Copilot Studio, focusing on agent governance, publishing models, security considerations, and the interaction of agents within the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

• Strong comprehension of identity, security, and compliance principles — including Entra ID, least privilege, conditional access, and auditability — and their implications on Power Platform and Copilot Studio decisions.

• Proficient in engaging directly with clients and conveying strategy, risks, and recommendations to executive audiences in a polished yet approachable manner, both in writing and verbally.

• Familiarity with pro-code extensions to the Power Platform — such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, custom connectors, and Azure DevOps pipelines — is advantageous but not mandatory; however, expect it to be a topic of discussion.

• Capable of working remotely within the United States, ensuring reliable availability during Eastern and Central business hours.
