Senior AI Engineer – Workday Products

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Connect data science with software engineering to implement AI and machine learning solutions for Workday Products.

• Collaborate closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams.

• Incorporate AI models into live production systems.

• Enhance the performance of AI solutions.

• Ensure the reliability of features driven by AI.

• Contribute to the technical advancement of the team.

• Develop robust and scalable AI solutions that improve the offerings of Workday Products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong software development background.

• Proficient in Python, Java, or C++.

• Experience in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable production-level AI code.

• Practical experience in deploying AI/ML models in production settings.

• Knowledge of MLOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, model versioning, and monitoring.

• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Experience with SageMaker, Vertex AI, or Azure ML Studio.

• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

• Data engineering expertise, encompassing data pipelines, data wrangling, and integration of enterprise data systems.

• Exposure to agile software development methodologies and experience in agile teams.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across functions.

• A BSc, MSc, or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Familiarity with Workday APIs, data structures, and integration patterns is a plus.

• Experience in designing generative AI solutions utilizing large language models is advantageous.

• Exposure to deep learning techniques such as CNNs, RNNs, and Transformers is beneficial.

• Involvement in conferences, workshops, or blogging is a plus.
