Senior AI Engineer, Python, Node.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and implement AI solutions from start to finish, ranging from experimental models and prototypes to fully operational systems.

• Engage in research and development, constructing proof of concepts (PoCs), investigating new AI technologies and techniques, testing innovative ideas, and transforming validated concepts into functional solutions.

• Work collaboratively with cross-disciplinary teams to effectively design and integrate AI solutions.

• Record solutions, experiments, and best practices to enhance AI expertise throughout the organization.

• Provide guidance to internal teams on AI adoption, tools, and implementation strategies.

• Lead or contribute to internal workshops and sessions aimed at knowledge sharing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient user of contemporary AI coding tools, focusing on agentic and specification-driven workflows.

• Practical experience with Generative AI, including LLM APIs, prompt engineering, LangChain, n8n, and AI feature development.

• Experience in testing and evaluating Generative AI systems (LLM evaluations), ensuring a solid baseline of code quality.

• Over 8 years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on Python and backend production expertise.

• Demonstrated passion for AI coding through personal projects, experimentation, and independent coding practices.

• In-depth knowledge of machine learning fundamentals, including the implementation of basic models and gradient descent from the ground up.

• Strong SQL skills and practical experience with vector databases and embeddings.

• Capable of managing initiatives from inception to completion and working independently.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in Agile methodologies, effectively balancing research and development with delivery priorities.

• Exceptional technical communication, documentation skills, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

• Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency.
