Senior AI Engineer – Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable machine learning infrastructure on AWS, utilizing services such as AWS Sagemaker for efficient model training and deployment.

• Collaborate closely with product teams to create MVPs for AI-driven features, ensuring rapid iterations and market testing for effective solution refinement.

• Develop and enhance monitoring and alerting frameworks for machine learning models to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and minimal downtime.

• Support the Marketing Team’s utilization of AI with consideration for cross-departmental impact, enabling various organizational departments to leverage AI/ML models, including advanced Generative AI solutions for diverse use cases.

• Provide production support by offering expertise in debugging and resolving issues related to machine learning models in production, participating in on-call rotations for operational troubleshooting and incident resolution.

• Design and scale machine learning architecture to accommodate rapid user growth, utilizing deep knowledge of AWS and ML best practices to ensure robustness and efficiency.

• Mentor team members and elevate overall team skills through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.

• Stay informed on the latest advancements in machine learning technologies and AWS services, driving the adoption of cutting-edge solutions to maintain a competitive advantage.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Machine Learning, Statistics, Physics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• A minimum of 6+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, with a proven record of deploying scalable ML models in production settings.

• Deep expertise in one or more of the following areas: machine learning, recommendation systems, pattern recognition, data mining, artificial intelligence, or related technical fields.

• A demonstrated history of developing machine learning models from inception to delivering business impact, showcasing the ability to tackle complex challenges with innovative solutions.

• Proficiency in Python is essential, and experience with Golang is advantageous.

• Proven technical leadership in guiding teams, owning end-to-end projects, and establishing the technical direction to achieve project objectives efficiently.

• Experience with relational databases, data warehouses, and utilizing SQL for data exploration.

• Strong familiarity with AWS cloud services, particularly in deploying and managing machine learning solutions and scaling them cost-effectively.

• Knowledgeable in Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines for the efficient deployment and management of ML models.

• Comfortable with monitoring and observability tools tailored for machine learning models (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch) and experienced in developing recommender systems or enhancing user experiences through personalized recommendations.

• A solid foundation in data processing and pipeline frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Kafka) for managing real-time data streams.
