Senior AI Engineer – Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable machine learning infrastructure on AWS, utilizing services such as AWS Sagemaker for effective model training and deployment.

• Collaborate with product teams to create MVPs for AI-driven features, ensuring rapid iterations and market testing for effective solution refinement.

• Develop and enhance monitoring and alerting systems for machine learning models to guarantee high performance, reliability, and minimal downtime.

• Enable various departments within the organization to utilize AI/ML models, including advanced Generative AI solutions, for diverse use cases while supporting the Marketing Team’s AI initiatives.

• Provide production support by troubleshooting and resolving issues related to machine learning models in operational environments, participating in on-call rotations for incident management.

• Design and scale machine learning architecture to accommodate rapid user growth, drawing upon extensive knowledge of AWS and ML best practices to ensure robustness and efficiency.

• Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and enhance overall team capabilities through knowledge sharing and collaboration.

• Stay informed on the latest advancements in machine learning technologies and AWS services, promoting the adoption of innovative solutions to maintain a competitive advantage.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Machine Learning, Statistics, Physics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• A minimum of 6+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, with a proven history of deploying scalable ML models in a production setting.

• Deep expertise in one or more of the following domains: machine learning, recommendation systems, pattern recognition, data mining, artificial intelligence, or other related technical fields.

• Demonstrated ability to develop machine learning models from inception to business impact, showcasing innovative solutions to complex challenges.

• Proficiency in Python is required, and experience with Golang is advantageous.

• Proven technical leadership skills in guiding teams, managing end-to-end projects, and establishing the technical direction to efficiently meet project objectives.

• Experience with relational databases, data warehouses, and proficiency in SQL for data exploration.

• Strong familiarity with AWS cloud services, particularly in deploying and managing machine learning solutions while ensuring cost-effective scalability.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines for the efficient deployment and management of ML models.

• Comfortable using monitoring and observability tools designed for machine learning models (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch) and experienced in developing recommender systems or enhancing user experiences through personalized recommendations.

• Solid foundation in data processing and pipeline frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Kafka) for managing real-time data streams.
