Senior AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design and implementation of scalable machine learning infrastructure on AWS.

• Collaborate with product teams to create MVPs for AI-driven functionalities.

• Develop and improve monitoring and alerting systems for machine learning models.

• Empower various departments within the organization to utilize AI/ML models effectively.

• Provide expertise in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to machine learning models in production environments.

• Architect and scale machine learning systems to accommodate rapid user growth.

• Perform code reviews, mentor team members, and enhance overall team skills through knowledge sharing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Machine Learning, Statistics, Physics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• A minimum of 6+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, showcasing success in deploying scalable ML models in production settings.

• In-depth knowledge in one or more of the following domains: machine learning, recommendation systems, pattern recognition, data mining, artificial intelligence, or comparable technical areas.

• Strong proficiency in Python; experience with Golang is an advantage.

• Background in working with relational databases, data warehouses, and utilizing SQL for data exploration.

• Familiarity with AWS cloud services, particularly in deploying and managing machine learning solutions and scaling them cost-effectively.

• Proficient in Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines for the efficient deployment and management of ML models.
