Senior AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and implement autonomous agents along with generative AI solutions.

• Develop workflows for planning, execution, validation, and state control.

• Integrate large language models (LLMs) with APIs, repositories, development tools, databases, and enterprise systems.

• Create methodologies for retrieving and utilizing technical and document context.

• Establish technical guardrails, boundaries, and semantic isolation parameters.

• Build secure and isolated environments for executing code generated or leveraged by agents.

• Develop pilot projects applicable to the software development lifecycle.

• Assist in transforming pilots into reusable, observable, and secure solutions.

• Collaborate with teams across development, architecture, infrastructure, and security.

• Document technical decisions and help define AI engineering standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in software engineering and development.

• Advanced proficiency in Python, including typing, concurrency, automated testing, and clean architecture.

• Practical experience in building solutions utilizing language models.

• Familiarity with autonomous agents and multi-agent architectures.

• Proficient in code-first frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, and CrewAI.

• Knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), chunking, semantic search, reranking, and vector databases.

• Experience in tool-calling and integrating LLMs with APIs and external tools.

• Background in FRONT and BACK-EVAL (assertiveness, measurement, chunking, packet size, tokenization).

• Advanced understanding of security and permissions, especially RBAC-based models.

• Experience with Docker, containerization, and isolated execution environments.

• Familiarity with Git, including branching, pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience using Jira and Confluence.

• Comprehension of the end-to-end software development lifecycle.

• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, secret management, and the safeguarding of sensitive data.

• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, Oracle OCI, or Azure (products and services).

• Experience in FinOps.
