Senior AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the technical advancement of LLM-based solutions.

• Create comprehensive architectures for the processing and comprehension of unstructured data: data ingestion; parsing and transformation; retrieval and RAG; reasoning and extraction.

• Determine the appropriate use of agents versus deterministic pipelines.

• Guarantee the quality, scalability, and observability of solutions in a production environment.

• Advance technical standards, architecture, and best practices for the AI stack.

• Mentor fellow engineers and elevate the technical capabilities of the team.

• Collaborate closely with product teams to transform complex challenges into incremental solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive backend software engineering experience — 5+ years.

• Practical experience with AI systems in a production setting (particularly LLMs).

• Background in developing applications utilizing RAG, agents, or information extraction.

• Knowledge of frameworks such as Agno, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or equivalent.

• Proficient in designing distributed, scalable system architectures.

• Experience in processing unstructured data.

• Understanding of embeddings, semantic search, and evaluation of response quality.

• Familiarity with observability and debugging of AI systems.

• Proficient in Git.
