This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Design and enhance systems powered by LLM technology.
• Architect, fine-tune, and optimize machine learning models, encompassing both LLMs and traditional ML methodologies.
• Experiment with cutting-edge architectures, including Transformers and Mixture-of-Experts.
• Implement effective training and fine-tuning strategies, such as LoRA and parameter-efficient techniques.
• Establish robust evaluation methods to assess model quality and reliability.
• Create scalable AI systems.
• Construct and deploy production-quality NLP pipelines and services.
• Ensure models function efficiently, maintaining low latency and high availability.
• Integrate models within scalable cloud infrastructures and real-world applications.
• Lead the acquisition, processing, and governance of extensive structured and unstructured datasets.
• Employ exploratory data analysis and validation methods to enhance training pipelines.
• Uphold data privacy and governance standards appropriate for the financial services sector.
• Contribute to DevOps and MLOps workflows.
• Implement robust version control, testing, and CI/CD processes.
• Support dependable deployment and monitoring of models in production settings.
• Mentor engineers and assist in the technical development of the team.
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and data teams to deliver AI solutions.
• Stay ahead of AI and NLP research, applying new methodologies where beneficial.
• Extensive experience in building, training, and deploying machine learning models.
• Proficient in Python, with experience in using NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, and contemporary ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience handling large-scale unstructured data.
• Proven track record in developing and deploying production-ready NLP systems.
• Familiarity with API integrations and data acquisition workflows.
• Experience applying software engineering best practices, including Git and agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes (desirable).
• Familiarity with frameworks like vLLM or NeMo (desirable).
• Understanding of NLP applications within financial services (desirable).
• Experience in designing evaluation methodologies for LLM outputs (desirable).
• Experience in developing intelligent agents or multi-agent systems (desirable).
