This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Design, develop, and manage comprehensive, AI-driven internal applications, encompassing backend services, APIs, data storage, and user-facing interfaces.
• Create tailored agentic solutions that utilize cutting-edge AI models (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) to streamline workflows, enhance decision-making, and scale business operations.
• Integrate with internal teams to gain a profound understanding of their objectives, limitations, and key performance indicators, subsequently translating those requirements into technical solutions with defined success criteria.
• Oversee projects from start to finish, including technical design, architectural decisions, project scoping, delivery, iterations, and ongoing support.
• Work in collaboration with non-technical stakeholders to broaden their awareness of AI capabilities and assist in shaping more ambitious solutions.
• Develop dependable, scalable systems that are utilized throughout the organization and impact critical aspects of TRM’s operations.
• Regularly assess impact, iterating on solutions each quarter based on quantifiable business results.
• Contribute to a dynamic, high-ownership engineering culture that prioritizes quality, speed, and meaningful real-world impact.
• Over 6 years of full-stack software engineering experience in constructing scalable web applications, services, and APIs.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Python, with a strong comfort level in working across the stack, including frontend development (React or similar frameworks).
• Experience in developing backend systems, engaging with various datastores (such as Postgres/pgvector, Pinecone, Redis), and designing APIs.
• Proven curiosity and practical experience with AI tools and applications—utilizing modern AI models, agentic IDEs, or creating AI-enabled workflows or prototypes.
• Experience in building or experimenting with custom-developed agentic systems, workflow orchestration tools (like n8n), or Agentic browser automation.
• A strong sense of ownership and initiative, with the capacity to function independently in ambiguous problem-solving environments.
• Exceptional communication abilities, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
