Senior AI Engineer – Agentic AI, ML

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Assess business challenges and determine suitable Machine Learning methodologies

• Architect comprehensive AI solutions and scalable system frameworks

• Develop production-ready agentic AI systems utilizing orchestration frameworks and Large Language Models

• Enhance and refine Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines, semantic search, and knowledge retrieval mechanisms

• Create and implement robust Python backend services and APIs tailored for AI applications

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to prototype, validate, and iterate on AI functionalities

• Analyze emerging technologies, frameworks, and research avenues

• Convert innovative concepts into production-ready implementations

• Ensure technical excellence, reliability, and maintainability across AI systems

• Participate in architectural decisions and uphold engineering best practices

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of commercial experience in developing Machine Learning systems

• Demonstrated ML technical leadership experience

• Capability to comprehend business challenges, select fitting ML methodologies, design comprehensive solutions, and make informed technical choices

• Strong practical experience with LangGraph, LangChain, or comparable agentic orchestration frameworks

• Background in designing multi-agent systems, orchestration workflows, state management, tool invocation, and structured outputs

• Practical experience in developing production-grade applications utilizing Large Language Models

• Solid understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation, embeddings, semantic search, retrieval optimization, prompt engineering, and context management

• Familiarity with vector databases including Vertex AI RAG Engine, Pinecone, FAISS, or Weaviate

• Proficient in Python development

• Experience in creating APIs with FastAPI or similar frameworks

• Knowledge of asynchronous programming and managing long-running backend processes

• Experience in designing structured data models using Pydantic or similar validation tools

• Proficient in using Docker

• Ability to operate independently in dynamic R&D and Proof-of-Concept settings

• Strong ownership mindset coupled with problem-solving abilities

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools

• Preferred: Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, Vertex AI, Gemini, Vertex AI RAG Engine, AWS, Azure, multimodal AI, foundation-model fine-tuning, and AI evaluation or benchmarking processes
