Senior AI Enablement Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Foster an AI-first culture by utilizing internal playbooks and "golden-path" templates while assessing impact through DORA and SPACE metrics.

• Oversee AI expenses through token budgeting and usage monitoring, implementing guardrails such as PII redaction and audit logging.

• Create and document reusable frameworks for code generation, pull requests, testing, and debugging to enhance the entire developer lifecycle.

• Execute proof of concepts and offer insights on AI tools grounded in ROI, technical validity, and stakeholder input.

• Maintain lightweight AWS infrastructure, including API Gateways and LLM pipelines, while ensuring integration with CI/CD and GitLab.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, developer experience, or a closely related technical field.

• Proven hands-on expertise with LLM APIs and AI developer tools in production or organizational settings.

• Background in evaluating, acquiring, or managing AI/SaaS tools at an organizational level, including vendor evaluation, license oversight, and cost management.

• Proficient in Python for automation, tooling, and the development of lightweight AI workflows and integrations.

• Regular daily utilization of AI-assisted development tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, ChatGPT, or similar) in your engineering activities.

• Experience in designing developer workflows, internal platforms, or engineering self-service functionalities with an emphasis on usability and adoption.

• Strong AWS expertise, with knowledge of Bedrock, API Gateway, or equivalent managed AI and cloud services.

• A robust observability mindset, capable of instrumenting AI tools and workflows with significant metrics and usage indicators.

• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Helm) and experience working within GitOps and CI/CD environments, preferably with GitLab CI.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the skill to convert technical insights into clear recommendations for engineering leadership and business stakeholders.
