Senior AI Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Analyze complex business challenges across multiple domains with an emphasis on return on investment and impact metrics, determining the suitable technical methods from proof of concept to production.

• Create solutions and derive insights from data utilizing data science, classical machine learning techniques, and generative AI (GenAI).

• Take charge of designing, implementing, and automating robust data science and machine learning models and pipelines, covering feature generation, modeling, evaluation, retraining, and deployment.

• Convert intricate analytical results and model outputs into straightforward, actionable insights for stakeholders, effectively enhancing value and driving improvements in key business metrics.

• Work in partnership with cross-functional teams to grasp requirements and deliver cutting-edge Data Science/ML/AI solutions.

• Research the latest advancements in Data Science/ML/AI and apply them to enhance our systems.

• Document processes, code, and findings for future reference and knowledge sharing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of hands-on experience in the industry, addressing data science and machine learning challenges to resolve real-world business issues.

• Proficient programming skills in Python and SQL, along with experience in relevant Data Science and ML frameworks (such as Scikit-learn, Pandas, PyTorch, etc.).

• Capacity to approach problems from foundational principles.

• In-depth knowledge of statistical and machine learning algorithms, methodologies, and approaches, including deep learning and large language models (LLMs).

• Experience in applying statistical concepts (e.g., regressions, A/B testing, clustering, probability) to solve business challenges.

• Skilled in narrating stories with data.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent communication and documentation skills, capable of transforming analysis into well-structured and persuasive content.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
