Senior Advisor, Business Strategies

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to clients and partners regarding the positioning, planning, development, execution, and monitoring of strategic projects and initiatives.

• Create and revise policies, standards, models, and programs that support strategic projects and initiatives.

• Identify, analyze, and diagnose significant issues while offering recommendations to decision-making bodies.

• Act as a representative of the unit in front of decision-making bodies.

• Advocate for Desjardins's position while negotiating agreements with external partners and organizations.

• Drive and shape development projects and complex, innovative strategic initiatives that involve multiple sectors.

• Formulate and suggest strategic directions and business positions.

• Provide advice on the planning and execution of projects and initiatives that are operationally and conceptually complex.

• Serve as an expert advisor, subject matter expert, resource person, and coach for senior management and decision-making bodies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

• At least eight years of pertinent experience.

• Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be taken into account.

• Proficiency in French is mandatory.

• In-depth knowledge of the relevant field.

• Capability to develop business plans, business intelligence, and strategic directions.

• Skill in analyzing and diagnosing major organizational challenges.

• Ability to provide counsel to senior management and decision-making bodies.

• Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder coordination abilities.

• Strategic outlook, customer orientation, quality decision-making, action-driven approach, and capacity for agile learning.
