πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Join the energy transition as an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer (AME) focused on Blades.

β€’ Oversee factory operations and develop sustainable energy solutions.

β€’ Convert innovative manufacturing ideas into reliable, industrialized practices.

β€’ Collaborate with the global GE Vernova team to enhance technologies that improve SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost).

β€’ Design, specify, and execute advanced processes and materials to transition new manufacturing technologies from pilot phases to shop-floor implementation.

β€’ Utilize data-driven insights and Industry 4.0 solutions to assess and enhance process performance.

β€’ Take ownership of the technical deployment of automation, robotics, and intricate process solutions.

β€’ Create global process standards, control plans, and training programs to ensure uniformity throughout the international supply chain.

β€’ Serve as a liaison between R&D, Engineering, and Operations, ensuring alignment among stakeholders on intricate technical roadmaps and change management efforts.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

β€’ Significant experience in leading complex, cross-functional technology roadmaps and guiding global technical teams.

β€’ Strong background in lean manufacturing, composite process, and material development.

β€’ Willingness to travel (approximately 20%) for trials, factory launches, and supplier engagements.

β€’ In-depth knowledge of wind turbine blade manufacturing.

β€’ Proven experience in developing, leading, and executing technology development projects.

β€’ Lean mindset – capable of driving process improvements, standard work, etc.

β€’ Ability to effectively influence a diverse range of stakeholders.

β€’ Skilled in engaging with individuals at every level of the organization to achieve the most significant outcomes.

β€’ Experience with PLC programming, robotics, or automation integration.
