
Senior Adjuster – Marine Surveyor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Conduct investigations and adjust claims related to residential and commercial property and casualty with minimal supervision.
• Assess claims and promptly reach out to all relevant parties.
• Examine the details of claims to determine coverage, causes, compensable damages, and reserve requirements.
• Review insurance policies and documentation to verify coverage.
• Create estimates for repair and replacement costs.
• Interview claimants and witnesses to gather information.
• Negotiate and resolve first-party and third-party claims.
• Manage salvage and subrogation processes as per client needs.
• Foster client relationships to encourage repeat business referrals.
• Execute other assigned responsibilities.
• Contribute to organizational quality initiatives.
• Travel as necessary.
• IIA-AIC designation is mandatory.
• A valid state adjuster license is essential.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience or a suitable combination of education and experience is required.
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including proficiency in presentations.
• Proficient in PC applications, particularly Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proven ability to report in a timely manner.
