This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Execute intricate Accounts Receivable invoicing tasks, which involve processing invoice uploads, adjustments, and credit memo applications within Oracle.
• Oversee and prioritize tasks from the Shared Inbox, ensuring timely processing, proper documentation, and compliance with SLAs.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, customer issues, and reconciliation variances across various systems.
• Load and process billing files, ensuring successful integration into Oracle, including the review of interface reports and follow-up on exceptions.
• Conduct and review credit memo applications, invoice adjustments, and manual billing corrections to maintain accurate account balances.
• Assist with monthly and periodic processes such as small balance write-offs and aging-related tasks, including preparation, validation, and approvals.
• Analyze clarification trends and create reports to identify opportunities for training and process improvements.
• Review and maintain customer account data, including Internal vs. External classifications, collector assignments, and account setups, ensuring accuracy, data integrity, and alignment with organizational guidelines.
• Proactively seek process improvements and drive initiatives for automation, standardization, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Customer Service, Operations, IT, and Accounting) to resolve issues and enhance invoicing processes.
• Support audit and SOX compliance efforts by maintaining documentation, responding to audit requests, and ensuring processes adhere to internal control requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable blend of education and experience.
• 3+ years of relevant accounting or financial analysis experience, ideally in Accounts Receivable, invoicing, or revenue operations.
• Capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Utilizes experience and judgment to plan and achieve goals.
• Exhibits a high degree of creativity and freedom in problem-solving and decision-making.
• Critical Thinking - Employing logic and reasoning to assess the strengths and weaknesses of different solutions, conclusions, or approaches to issues.
• Problem Solving - Identifying complex issues and reviewing relevant information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
• Demonstrates a conceptual understanding of accounting and finance principles and the ability to apply them to the responsibilities outlined above.
• Proficient in computer skills, including all applications in Microsoft Office.
• Experience facilitating meetings with high-level cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with mainframe systems, with Oracle preferred.
• Experience with SharePoint and workflow tools is preferred.
