Senior Accounting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Support the completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities in the US.

• Prepare journal entries for the US to be processed by the Shared Services Center (SCS).

• Analyze the Profit and Loss statement to ensure accurate recording of Revenue and Expenses, collaborating with Finance to address any forecasting issues.

• Reconcile and manage balance sheet accounts.

• Propose improvements for our tools and processes.

• Keep Actuals information from SAP-BFC up to date to maintain comprehensive support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Communicate daily in English (80% to 100% of the time) with teams across Europe, Asia, and America, participating in meetings and effectively engaging with senior leadership, showcasing strong accounting knowledge and clear communication for delivering reports, insights, and action plans. Proficiency in Spanish is an advantage.

• Be results-driven, utilizing critical problem-solving and data analysis skills for business financial analysis, and be adaptable to attend meetings across different time zones as needed.

• Stay organized and detail-oriented to guarantee the accuracy of accounting entries and reports from our Shared Services Center (“SCS”) while delivering value.

• Execute monthly closing procedures, compiling and dispatching monthly accounting entries with proper support while consistently adhering to deadlines and maintaining process quality.

• Perform comprehensive analysis of monthly account reconciliations for Balance Sheet & Profit and Loss, identifying discrepancies and inefficiencies in the reconciliation process, and preparing correction journals to ensure accurate ending balances.

• Assist in the annual financial planning process, facilitate Inter-Group monthly invoicing, and prepare ad-hoc tax reports, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and adherence to group policies.

• Collaborate closely with local finance teams in North America, Latin America, and other regions to guarantee alignment and consistency in financial information and processes.
