Senior Accountant – UK Shift

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Managing revenue recognition and overseeing daily billing operations for both new and existing services.

• Engaging in significant collaboration across departments, including Receivables, Sales Operations, Legal, and Finance teams, on a daily basis.

• Leading initiatives to drive change and contribute to the automation of manual processes.

• Producing invoices and reports that are consistent, timely, and accurate.

• Leading and supporting the month-end and quarter-end closing processes, ensuring both accuracy and timeliness.

• Preparing and recording revenue-related journal entries through thorough analysis of underlying transactions and supporting data.

• Reconciling sub-ledger activities with general ledger balances while investigating and resolving discrepancies.

• Conducting monthly balance sheet reconciliations and analyzing variances between the income statement and budget-to-actual figures.

• Partnering with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance with public company reporting standards.

• Collaborating across functions with FP&A, Tax, Financial Operations, Internal Audit, and Legal to support financial reporting and operational initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.

• 3–6 years of progressive experience in accounting or billing operations, preferably within a SaaS or technology context.

• Experience in public accounting and/or U.S. technical accounting is preferred.

• Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting procedures.

• Highly analytical with excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong attention to detail.

• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for cross-functional collaboration.

• Experience with ERP systems, such as Oracle Fusion Cloud, and CRM platforms like Salesforce is a plus.
