This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mauritius.
• Take responsibility for the comprehensive integrity, visibility, and management of cash across all ALU entities, accounts, and payment channels.
• Establish and uphold treasury operational standards, which include:
• Daily cash visibility requirements.
• Reconciliation timelines and aging thresholds.
• Payment execution protocols.
• Review and confirm daily cash position reports prepared by the Treasury & Compliance Coordinator.
• Provide proactive cash insights, encompassing:
• Liquidity constraints.
• Funding gaps.
• Timing discrepancies between collections and disbursements.
• Serve as the main coordination point for cash implications across various functions:
• Accounts Payable: payment readiness.
• Accounts Receivable: collections and cash application.
• Payroll: salary and statutory disbursements.
• FP&A: cash forecasting and reporting.
• Ensure all teams function against a unified, aligned cash position.
• Supervise the execution of all treasury activities conducted by the Treasury & Compliance Coordinator.
• Validate payment batches before release, ensuring:
• Proper approvals.
• Complete documentation.
• Alignment with cash availability.
• Maintain discipline throughout bi-monthly payment cycles (15th and month-end).
• Manage end-to-end bank reconciliations across all entities and accounts, emphasizing accuracy and completeness in all reconciliations.
• Oversee treasury deliverables during the month-end close process, ensuring all bank accounts are reconciled and approved.
• Handle intercompany accounting and reconciliations among ALU entities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in accounting or treasury positions.
• Strong expertise in:
• Liquidity management and cash control.
• Payment processing and treasury operations.
• Month-end close processes.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
• Exceptional attention to detail, focusing on accuracy, completeness, and control.
• Solid understanding of financial accounting and reporting principles.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of enforcing deadlines and constructively challenging slippage.
