Senior Accountant, Technical Accounting – Financial Reporting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Prepare and evaluate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including footnotes and supporting schedules, in alignment with U.S. GAAP.

• Assist in consolidation processes and manage intercompany eliminations.

• Ensure timely and precise reporting for external stakeholders.

• Conduct research, analysis, and documentation of accounting conclusions for complex and non-routine transactions (e.g., debt instruments, revenue arrangements, leases, derivatives).

• Draft technical accounting memos under U.S. GAAP to support audit and compliance obligations.

• Assess the impact of new accounting standards (ASUs) and aid in their implementation across the organization.

• Offer guidance to business partners regarding the accounting implications of various transactions.

• Collaborate with FP&A, Treasury, Legal, Tax, and Operations teams to ensure accurate accounting practices and reporting.

• Assist with special projects, including debt transactions, acquisitions, and system implementations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (mandatory).

• CPA license is highly preferred.

• 3–6+ years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and/or financial reporting in the industry.

• Required experience with SEC reporting and U.S. GAAP technical accounting.

• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP reporting requirements.

• Proficiency in financial statement preparation and disclosures.

• Familiarity with financial systems (e.g., ERP systems such as NetSuite).

• Advanced skills in Excel.
