This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily accounting functions, encompassing accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and the maintenance of the general ledger (GL).

• Organize and uphold the general ledger to guarantee precision and adherence to accounting standards.

• Prepare and reconcile monthly cash statements and financial reports at month-end.

• Develop and refine a straightforward and efficient month-end closing procedure.

• Conduct thorough month-end reconciliations to ensure all accounts are reported accurately.

• Accurately and promptly manage and process sales commissions using NetSuite.

• Effectively communicate with the sales team regarding inquiries and discrepancies related to commissions.

• Address incoming calls concerning commission processing with strong English communication skills.

• Utilize NetSuite for all accounting activities, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance of the system.

• Exhibit exceptional Excel capabilities for data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling.

• Perform data processing and cleanup tasks to uphold financial accuracy.

• Collaborate closely with the Sales team to monitor budget versus actual performance.

• Provide support to cross-functional teams with financial insights and analyses to inform business decisions.

• Aid in the preparation and oversight of budgets.

• Analyze discrepancies between budgeted and actual figures, offering actionable insights.

• Quickly identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and financial issues.

• Implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of experience in general accounting, preferably in the solar or renewable energy sector.

• Demonstrated proficiency with the NetSuite ERP system.

• Proven experience in processing commissions and managing financial inquiries related to sales.

• Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel (including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and macros).

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Solid knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Capable of handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
