Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and perform general ledger account analyses by reviewing transactions to ensure accuracy within the GL account.

• Oversee revenue recognition processes along with managing revenue, WIP, and deferred revenue schedules.

• Collaborate with Staff Accountants to conduct monthly reconciliations of all bank accounts.

• Assist in consolidating and recording month-end expense accruals.

• Prepare journal entries at month-end.

• Manage and reconcile all intercompany transactions.

• Research open items on balance sheet reconciliations and propose recommended solutions.

• Support the month-end ancillary package and facilitate Hyperion trial balance uploads.

• Act as a back-up for various functions within the Shared Service Department.

• Assist with both internal and external audits as needed.

• Help with ad hoc requests as assigned.

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal controls.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferably experienced with large ERP and Accounting Software (such as SAP, Oracle, INTACCT, Net Suite, Maconomy, etc.).

• Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Fundamental knowledge of the technical aspects of account analyses and financial statements.

• Capable of reconciling accounts and performing GL analysis.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.

• Minimum of 3 years of Accounting experience.

• Basic Excel skills necessary (including Sumif, Vlookup, and Pivot Tables).

• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.

• Highly organized, motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal communication skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Fluent in English.

• Must reside in Latam.
