Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborating with senior team members, you will oversee much of the daily operations for our clients, including transaction entry, invoicing, bill payments, payroll preparation, journal entries, and reconciliations.

• Your daily responsibilities will be systematically organized in Karbon, our practice management system, which is an essential tool to help you successfully manage tasks across various clients.

• As you perform your duties, you will consistently seek guidance from your team whenever you are uncertain about the required actions, whether it involves a client's financial records or another client's system.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in accounting and payroll within a multi-client setting, particularly with US-based clients.

• A college degree is mandatory.

• Experience in a CPA/CAS firm is highly advantageous.

• Proficiency in cloud accounting technologies with a minimum of 2 years managing payroll, processing bills, and executing all daily transactional tasks with US-based clients across various industries (3+ years in NetSuite, SAGE, Intaact, QBO, Bill.com, Advanced Excel, Gusto, or other payroll software, etc.).

• Advanced analytical capabilities to transform large datasets into meaningful financial report interpretations.

• At least 2 years of experience in accounting and reporting for portfolio companies funded by private equity and/or venture capital.

• Experience in managing audits for clients is a significant advantage.

• Ability to meet deadlines across multiple clients while understanding prioritization needs.

• A cheerful demeanor and positive attitude in all internal and external communications.
