This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Generate client invoices for entities across the U.S.
• Develop and maintain cash flow projections.
• Record and reconcile intercompany invoices.
• Audit payroll entries for the Philippines.
• Confirm details of vendor/client invoices.
• Create reports on job costing and gross profit.
• Analyze and reconcile accounts payable/receivable aging and vendor ledgers.
• Record month-end journal entries and accruals.
• Finalize month-end books and bank transactions.
• Evaluate U.S. payroll and sales commission information.
• Oversee state sales and use tax submissions.
• Compile monthly financial statements and banking requirements.
• Follow up on outstanding orders and coordinate with U.S. sales representatives and vendors.
• 5–8 years of accounting experience, preferably with U.S. books or under IFRS.
• A degree in Accounting is necessary; CPA designation is highly desired.
• Proficient in English communication: Able to articulate accounting concepts clearly and succinctly via email or VOIP.
• Detail-oriented: Able to identify discrepancies that others might overlook.
• Self-motivated and responsible — acknowledges mistakes, rectifies them, and learns quickly.
• Comfortable taking ownership of processes and mentoring junior team members as the role evolves.
• A friendly, drama-free team player who enjoys collaborating remotely.
• Nice-to-Have: Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central; Previous experience with U.S. entities or accounting teams; Strong skills in Excel modeling and reconciliation; Experience in leading or supervising accounting teams or processes, such as month-end close or audit preparation.
