This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assume full responsibility for designated accounting areas, ensuring precision, completeness, and punctuality.
• Prepare and record journal entries, encompassing both complex and non-routine transactions.
• Conduct monthly account reconciliations and proactively investigate and resolve discrepancies to guarantee the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Implement and facilitate the month-end closing process in a dynamic environment.
• Review and analyze financial statements, identifying errors, inconsistencies, or unusual trends, ensuring necessary corrections are made.
• Apply capitalization policies, including tracking fixed assets and determining appropriate expense versus capitalization treatment.
• Assist or lead ERP system implementations, enhancements, and optimization of NetSuite.
• Maintain and enhance accounting workflows to boost efficiency and fortify internal controls.
• Ensure that financial information adheres to professional and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with FP&A to assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Aid in audits by preparing schedules and documentation, ensuring readiness for audits.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Over 3 years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, including fixed assets and reserves.
• Practical experience with NetSuite (or similar ERP systems).
• Background in system implementations or enhancements of ERP systems.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical skills with the capability to identify issues, investigate root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail and robust organizational skills.
