This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Perform payment runs every 3–4 days across various bank accounts, Moss, Request Finance, and all crypto invoices—both off-chain and on-chain.
• Ensure that outgoing payment transactions are executed seamlessly and that receipts are properly collected and reconciled.
• Monitor compliance with internal control processes for each payment cycle.
• Review, edit, and authorize all items entering Moss prior to submission to the external accountant.
• Oversee the billing mailbox, ensuring that every document is accurately captured, routed, and coded.
• Serve as the final checkpoint for data accuracy—if something is amiss, you'll identify it.
• Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial statements for entities operating under German, BVI, and Cayman Islands jurisdictions.
• Manage monthly and annual financial closings, including reconciliations, postings, and coordination with external service providers for both crypto and fiat transactions.
• Administer intercompany accounting processes, including transfer pricing documentation and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with HGB and IFRS accounting standards while supporting international regulatory and tax compliance.
• Collaborate with Moss to further automate accounting workflows and minimize manual tasks.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies; prepare financial reports, forecasts, and analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop a junior team member by reviewing their work, enhancing their skills, and maintaining a high standard for the team's output.
• Over 5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in an international or crypto-oriented setting.
• Proficient with expense management tools such as Moss or Ramp.
• Strong understanding of intercompany accounting and transfer pricing.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal; proficiency in German is a plus.
• Annual team offsites (Thailand in 2023 and Vietnam in 2024 were fantastic; Marrakech in March 2025 promises to be even better—let’s see what 2026 has in store!)
