Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Execute weekly invoicing for clients (lender buyers) and oversee the complete accounts receivable process, including aging and active collections.

• Manage weekly payments to vendors, publishers, and partners.

• Take ownership of the entire accounting cycle across various entities and operating companies.

• Ensure accurate financial records are maintained in compliance with U.S. GAAP.

• Lead the processes for month-end and year-end closing.

• Prepare financial statements and management reporting packages for the CEO and leadership team.

• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, budgets, and cash flow projections.

• Provide KPI dashboards and unit-economics analysis segmented by buyer, publisher, and product line.

• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and payment processors.

• Collaborate with Compliance on SOC2 readiness, financial controls, and audit support.

• Coordinate with external accountants, tax advisors, and auditors as necessary.

• Identify and execute automation and workflow enhancements across the accounting stack.

• Assist with financial and accounting requirements for newly launched entities and business lines.

• Act as a key operational partner to the Founder & CEO and the leadership team.

• Help establish and lead finance operations in Latin America as the company grows.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or controllership.

• Experience supporting U.S.-based companies and familiarity with U.S. accounting practices.

• Strong, practical understanding of U.S. GAAP.

• Extensive experience with QuickBooks Online, which is the primary accounting system.

• Background in SaaS, fintech, marketplace, lending, or recurring-revenue business models.

• Demonstrated experience managing high-volume invoicing and payment operations.

• Strong capabilities in FP&A, financial reporting, and business analysis.

• Experience working across multiple legal entities or business units.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-ownership startup environment.
